About Quartzline
In 1976, Jan Kaptein and Bert Uithol specialized in the use of epoxy resin for laying floors. Kunststoftechniek Gouderak BV was born.
Until then, synthetic floors could only be supplied in one color: natural. The young entrepreneurs succeeded in supplying wear-resistant synthetic floors in any desired color. This resulted in an enormous breakthrough in the world of synthetic flooring.
The company grew. In 1991, a new production hall with offices was built on the Daltonstraat in Dordrecht. Jan Kaptein - now sole owner and with fifteen employees - continued under the name Quartzline BV.
In 1995, Quartzline BV took a radical decision by specialising entirely in the development and production of floor systems and floor products. Son Arthur Kaptein joined the company.
A new, multifunctional building was purchased in 2017 on the W.A. Boogaerdtstraat in Dordrecht. Quartzline BV is now one of the top companies in the Netherlands when it comes to floor systems and supplies floor systems and products all over the world from its modern factory.

Upscaling
After new developments have been given the OK they are taken to production where an initial upscaling produces a small batch that can then be subjected to tests which are performed by specially selected Quartzline technicians. Only once the tests have been successful can production take place and the product is made available for our customers.
Production and quality management
The Quartzline production process has been accurately laid down, guided and controlled by our Quality Department. The department makes sure that every product batch is subjected to numerous tests and passes these tests well within the precise margins recommended. All materials at Quartzline are subjected to similar extensive testing before being given the go-ahead to move on to the sales department. The Quartzline Quality Management System ensures that any manufacturing faults are discovered at an early stage in the process.
Application
Once all the above procedures have been followed the materials can be sent on to the technicians. Quartzline is renowned for its fast and efficient delivery service that always suits the customer’s needs. The detailed product descriptions and technical data sheets as well as our technical laboratory staff are available for customer support when and where it is needed.
